EDS5000 Series Overview

The EDS5000 Series is the next-generation, rack-mountable device server that supports 8, 16, and 32 serial ports to Ethernet (10/100/1000BASE-T or 100/1000 SFP) for easy remote access and management of virtually any serial-based equipment such as security equipment, medical devices, or POS terminals with data access speeds of up to 921.6 kbps baud rate.

Easy Configuration
Setup is a breeze with Windows-based Lantronix Provisioning Manager, which can be used locally or remotely with the Lantronix Percepxion™ device management platform. Additionally, the EDS5000 family can be managed via a web browser or command line interface.

The Percepxion platform provides software-defined automation across all your devices and the capture of device telemetry data for event management and analytics.
