With its DP1.4 Alt Mode DSC video compression technology, this adapter is able to convert DP1.4 Alt Mode video signals to HDMI, supporting video display resolutions up to 8K@60Hz or 4K120Hz.

This product is SPECIFICALLY designed to work with the latest Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) which supports DSC 1.2:
