Safe And Secure Network Connectivity Solution for Virtually Any Device With an Rs-232/422/485 Serial Interface

The Lantronix ED41000P2-01 EDS4100 is a four-port device terminal server with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability and an international power supply. It is a robust serial connectivity solution and serves as a combination Ethernet terminal and multiport device server, offering integration, intelligence, and security features. 

 

This terminal server also offers SSH and SSL encryption with support for 128/256/512/1024-bit AES (Rijndael), 3DES and RC4 Encryption Public/Private keys and hashing algorithms such as SHA-1 and MD5. If required, it is possible to use HTTP authentication and Base-64, Digest Authentication, and SSL connections.

 

The device includes a universal power supply with regional adapters, allowing it to be used globally and it eliminates the need for external power supplies and associated labor costs. The EDS4100 enables Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication and facilitates connections to various devices such as medical devices, kiosks, POS and retail terminals, or security equipment for remote operation from across the globe.
